To Promise or Not To Promise

to me a promise is a promise
when you say your word stick to it
don't just say it to get your ass out of shit and then forget that what you have said meant something to someone else
i know when you say the words "i promise" to someone- that person you say it to cherishs it - like me
so this will be my 1st REAL entry on my theory of keeping your word

ok well i have been with tis guy tom for 4 years.... well not been with him technically we're not going out anymore but we're heavily involved
now he has this stupid addiction to playing Texas Hold'Em and he wastes away all his money on it- he's always in dept with his friends because of it and he leaves me in the middle of a day to go and play
i don't know about anyone else out there but i don't really appreciate when i have to go out and buy him shit because he threw away his $10 just for a stupid game
now tom dosne't work and he dosen't get much money in a week and because he is always broke we can't do much of anything together
he either spends his cash on cigarettes or poker

so i've come to the conclusion that i hate that game and after he dropped me flat out 3 times in a row for the game i've decided that i have a huge problem
so now he had promised me (PROMISED is the key word in this entry) that he would never play for money again
about a month later now he plays all the time and has not 1 bad feeling about it watsoever
and to make it worse i've realized that he dosen't care for me the way he used to so i'm about just ready to give up

he has broken many promises in the past and i didn't want to beleive him when he told me he'd stop but i decided to stupidly give him another chance and he broke that promise again
and now here i am for the 3rd night in a row (again) pissed off because he had to lose i think.... its.... $30 in 3 days
and he's trying to lie about him playing too- but i have my resources who told me he was playing so fuck him

wow i need to stop i'm ready to fuckin break something...

but i hate people who promise me things.... cause they're all just trying to save their own ass
it seems that noone in this world can stick to their word without being a pussy

i'm very excited to start writing in it because i have many complaints in my life...

I HATE TOM
and
infatuation is a curse

...hold on i think that i might have to rant a bit mre on that 1st part
i really really hate tom because he is a lousy "friend" who is selfish and only cares about himself.
